Vice President Zhou Lu of China Sam, Wu Lin (Head of Group Strategic Development Department), and Zhang Shuangqin (Deputy General Manager of Sam Energy Limited) warmly received the guests at the Beijing headquarters.
Vice President Zhou Lu first extended a warm welcome to Banner Governor Zhou Yulong and the delegation from the Banner Development and Reform Commission, accompanying them on a tour of the Group's headquarters office area. During the subsequent symposium, he highlighted China Sam's history and development profile, emphasizing the Group's long-standing expertise in the energy sector with significant technological strengths, extensive project experience, and talent resources. He expressed China Sam's desire to work closely with the East Ujimqin Banner government to advance the construction of the Zhu'en China-Mongolia International Industrial Park and help establish a major energy corridor in Eastern Mongolia.
Banner Governor Zhou Yulong thanked the Group leadership for the hospitality and detailed the basic situation of East Ujimqin Banner. He pointed out that East Ujimqin is a strategic border banner and energy hub within Inner Mongolia, with close ties to Mongolia and abundant natural resources like minerals. The Banner government, while upholding ecological bottom lines, actively develops its distinctive local economy. It will establish a special project team for the Zhu'en China-Mongolia International Industrial Park, supporting its implementation from the perspective of safeguarding national energy security.
Subsequently, both parties reached consensus on key elements and development objectives for project cooperation, exchanging views and suggestions regarding practical issues anticipated during project implementation. The meeting further clarified critical milestones in the advancement process, laying a solid foundation for subsequent work.
This exchange visit accelerated joint efforts to radiate cross-border trade industrial chains centered on the Zhuengadabuqi Port, stimulating high-quality projects such as bulk commodity distribution hubs, supporting basic commercial infrastructure, and customs-supervised warehouses. These initiatives will drive regional economic growth, improve livelihoods, and consolidate border security.
