General Manager of Sam Energy Holds Talks with Leadership of Mongolia Railway State-Owned Company

Recently, the General Manager of Sam Energy Limited ("Sam Energy") conducted an inspection visit to Mongolia’s Ministry of Road and Transport Development (the "Mongolian Ministry of Transport") and held talks with Mr. Odkhuu, Chairman of the Board of Mongolia Railway State-Owned Company ("Mongolia Railway"). The Deputy General Manager of Sam Energy and an Advisor to Mongolia Port Group attended the meeting.

Mongolia Railway, a state-owned enterprise, oversees railway planning, design, and construction across Mongolia. Mr. Odkhuu welcomed and supported China Sam’s intent to participate in Mongolia’s railway development, particularly border port railways. He noted that China and Mongolia share a 4,710-km border as friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. Port railway construction will facilitate cross-border corridors and catalyze transformative growth in bilateral economic relations.

Sam Energy’s General Manager introduced China Sam’s corporate profile and resource advantages, expressing confidence that leveraging Mongolia Railway’s policy support and operational expertise would enable strong collaboration on port railway projects. Such partnership would substantially enhance trade efficiency between China and Mongolia.

Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on the Khot-Bichigt Port Railway construction plan and cooperation models, reaching preliminary consensus. China Sam will seize this opportunity to advance China-Mongolia cross-border port trade and develop the Eastern Mongolia Energy Corridor for mutual benefit.
