Sam Energy Facilitates Datang Duolun's First Import of Mongolian Thermal Coal

Recently, Sam Energy Limited ("Sam Energy") assisted Datang Inner Mongolia Duolun Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. ("Datang Duolun") in importing its first batch of Mongolian thermal coal since the plant's commissioning. This transaction marks Datang Duolun's inaugural use of Mongolian thermal coal.

The coal import constitutes a vital component of Sam Energy’s Sino-Mongolian cross-border coal trade initiative. Previously, Sam Energy signed a cooperation agreement with Mongolia’s Tumen Eri Investment LLC, securing stable coal supply capabilities. The company has also established partnerships with multiple downstream enterprises, achieving an annual trade volume exceeding 1 million metric tons.

Concurrently, Sam Energy’s coal trade operations continue to enhance the customs clearance capacity of Mandula Port. To date, the initiative has helped the port achieve a record-breaking clearance volume of over 4 million metric tons – a historic high since the port’s opening.

Moving forward, Sam Energy will deepen its expertise in the energy sector, accelerate the development of China-Mongolia energy corridors, and contribute to safeguarding national energy security.
